Search for products in a Copilot conversation
Here's how to use Copilot to search for products:
- Open Copilot and ask a shopping or product-related question. For example, "Help me find some comfortable slip-on shoes I can use for walking outdoors."
- Browse the product options Copilot provides. Copilot bases these options on your prompt, likely engagement, available merchant data, and other factors.
- Select a product image to see more details, like available sizes, retailers, review summaries, return windows, and price history. The details Copilot shows depend on what the merchant provides.
- When you're ready to purchase, select Buy to go to the retailer's purchase page.
Discover products on your Shopping homepage
Your Shopping homepage is a space in Copilot just for shopping. It gathers product recommendations, deals, and ideas based on what you're into. Shopping online can mean a lot of tabs, reviews, and second-guessing, so this gives you one place to pick up where your interests leave off instead of starting over each time.
If you're new to it, you'll see conversation starters and trending picks to help you explore. The more you shop and chat with Copilot, the more it learns what you like, so your recommendations, deals, and discoveries keep getting more relevant to you.
Get started
- On the left side-pane in Copilot, select More, then select Shopping.
- Browse the recommendations, deals, and shopping ideas Copilot has for you.
- Start a shopping conversation to shape what shows up. Try asking Copilot about:
- Gift ideas
- Travel gear
- Home office equipment
- Consumer electronics
- Anything else you're shopping for
- Select a product to see more details, compare options, read reviews, or check price history.
- Ask follow-up questions to fine-tune your results or explore alternatives.
Tips for getting the most out of your Shopping homepage
- Chat about what you're shopping for. The more you tell Copilot, the better it gets at knowing what you want.
- Try a few different topics. Planning a trip, setting up a home office, or picking out a gift all work well.
- Check back often. Your homepage keeps updating as you shop.

When you search for information about products available for purchase online, Copilot summarizes and returns relevant results from across the web and from advertisers.
