You use the Remote Desktop Web Access (RD Web Access) service on a client computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 to access the RemoteApp application. You open the RemoteApp application and perform several operations. In this scenario, the Remote Desktop session disconnects.

To resolve the issue, install the following hotfix on the client computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Note that in order to enable this functionality, both the client and server must have this QFE installed, and the new RDP setting must be enabled from the server side.

Prerequisites. To apply this hotfix, you must be running one of the following operating systems: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Cause. This issue occurs because SSO in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 is not available for a full remote desktop connection through RD Web Access. Resolution. Hotfix information. You cannot use a calendar control in a RemoteApp application when you use the RDC 7.0 client to connect to the RemoteApp application from a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 - Microsoft Support.
