This article shows you how to use the DAX Copilot window in Dragon Medical One to transfer the summary text to your EHR in a few ways, either section-by-section, specific content, or the entire note. You'll start in DAX Copilot on your desktop.

Note: You can't transfer directly from the DAX Copilot mobile app to your EHR.

Follow these basic steps to transfer text from DAX Copilot to your EHR:

  1. Select the content you want to transfer.

  2. Place your cursor in the EHR where you want the content to go.

  3. Transfer by using a voice command or manual transfer (by copying and pasting the selection).

Expand each topic below for steps for the different transfer workflows.

This workflow is useful if you need to transfer a specific section of a summary to your EHR.

Transfer a specific section using voice commands

  1. Open the desired summary in the Summary tab of DAX Copilot.

  2. In your EHR, place the cursor where you want the content to go.

  3. Turn on your microphone and use voice commands to transfer specific sections by name, (ex: transfer HPI or transfer assessment and plan). Say what can I say for a full list of voice commands.

    • DAX Copilot automatically copies and pastes the desired section into your EHR at your cursor location.
