Review Learning Activity completion in an assignment

Applies To: Microsoft Teams for Education, LMS solutions that work with Microsoft 365

When you attach a Learning Activity to an assignment, you can see which students interacted with it from the assignment review flow. Learning Activities aren't graded, but you can track engagement and completion. For example, you can check which students practiced before a quiz or test.

Things to keep in mind

  • Learning Activities aren't graded. Completion data is informational - it doesn't contribute to the assignment score, rubric, or gradebook.
  • You can't override or edit Learning Activity completion data from Teams Assignments or your LMS.
  • If the same activity is attached to assignments in multiple classes, you see engagement data from all classes in one view. There's no per-class scoping for activity analytics.
  • Students can redo Learning Activities as many times as they want. The summary reflects their most recent attempt.
