KB3002883 - FIX: Error occurs when you open FILESTREAM data that is hosted on dynamic disks in SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014

Symptoms

Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or Microsoft SQL Server 2014. There are FILESTREAM data hosted on dynamic disks that are configured by using Symantec Veritas Storage Foundation. When you open the data by using the OpenFileStream API, you receive the following exception:

Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the path specified

      

Resolution

This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
