Lesson 2: Create a strong LinkedIn profile summary

Reflect on your story and how you can tell that story through your skills and experiences in your profile summary. Make any changes to your profile.
Note: Add or update any of the following in your profile to continue developing your story: photo, industry and location, education, headline, background image, keywords, and experience.

Open Career Coach. Select Profile > Connect my LinkedIn account to make it easier to connect to alumni moving forward.

Pair with a peer in-person or on Microsoft Teams. Connect with each other on LinkedIn. Review profile summaries. Use what you learned from the video to give your partner/peer at least two ideas to enhance their summary. Implement the feedback you get.

Get advice from career services or a faculty advisor on how to improve your LinkedIn profile. Make any changes to your profile that work best for you.
