You can cross-post a channel conversation in Microsoft Teams to post the same message in multiple channels at the same time.
Cross-post a new channel conversation
- In the channel, select Post in channel or Start a post
. - In the compose box, select Actions and apps
> Post in other channels. - Select
above the subject line of your post to add more channels.
- Choose the channels you want to post in, or use search to find a channel. You can post only in channels where you are a member. Select Update to save.
- Type your message, then select Post. The message is posted to all selected channels.
Edit a cross-post
Hover over the original message to see the More options menu. Select Edit
.
You can also add or remove channels.
- To add a channel, select
and choose a channel.
- To remove a channel, select X next to the channel name.
You can turn any existing post into a cross-post by selecting Actions and apps
> Post in other channels.
Note
You can cross-post only in channels where you have permission to post. Channel moderation settings may restrict posting.
