Add members to your family group

लागू: Microsoft Account

There are a few ways you can add someone to your family group, but the easiest way to set up and manage members is to go to account.microsoft.com/family and then do the following:

  1. Sign in with your Microsoft account, then select Create a family group.

  2. Select Child or Adult.

  3. Type an email address or mobile phone number for the person you want to add and select Send invite. (If your child doesn’t have an email account or mobile number, select Create a new one for them.)

  4. Have the person you invited accept your invitation from the email or text message they receive.

  5. You can also go to account.microsoft.com/family, and in the Notifications section at the top of the page under Pending member, select Accept now next to their email address. You’ll have to sign out so the person you’re trying to add can sign in and join the family group.

  6. Sign back in and finish setting up parental controls to the child’s account.

Add an existing child account on your PC to your family group

If your child already has a user account on your PC, you can add them to your family group.

  1. Have your child sign in to the PC.
  2. Select the Start  button > Settings , and then select Accounts .
  3. Select Your info.
  • If your child doesn't currently sign in with a Microsoft account, select Sign in with a Microsoft account and then type their email address. You'll use their email address to add them to your family group in a little while.
  • If an email address is associated with their account, make note of it. You'll use it to add them to your family group.
  1. Next, you can sign in at account.microsoft.com/family and add them to your family group. Until they accept your invitation to join your family group from their email, they'll be able to sign in without having any family settings, restrictions, or monitoring applied to their account.

Add a family member on Xbox One

The way you add someone to your family group on Xbox One depends on whether they’re new to Xbox Live or already have an Xbox Live account. For kids who are new to Xbox Live, add them to your family group on the console, then manage their family settings on account.microsoft.com/family. Otherwise, they may not appear in your list of family members on the console.

If your child doesn’t have an Xbox Live account

  1. Press the Xbox  button to open the guide, then select Sign in and sign in with your account.
  2. Press the Xbox  button again and select System > Settings  > Account > Family settings > Manage family membersAdd to family > Add new.
  3. When the person you want to add is prompted to sign in using their Microsoft account email address, press B on your controller, then move the left stick down to select Get a new account, and have them follow the steps to create a Microsoft account.
  4. When you’re prompted, select Add to family.

If your child has an Xbox Live account on your console

  2. Press the Xbox  button again and select System > Settings  > Account > Family settings > Manage family membersAdd to family.
  3. Select the profile for the person you want to add, then press the A button on your controller.
