Understand the Learning Agent home page

The Learning Agent home page helps you discover personalized learning experiences, continue learning you already started, and explore learning recommended by your organization. It brings together suggested prompts, recommendations, and progress signals in one place so you can build skills in the flow of work.

Home Page - The home page includes three tabs that help organize your learning experience: For you, From your organization, and In progress.

  • For you - The “For you” tab shows personalized learning experiences that are most relevant to you. This can include Daily AI tips, task-based learning, assessments, learning plans, and role play recommendations.
  • From your organization - The “From your organization” tab highlights learning content recommended or assigned by your organization. This can include assignments, learning paths and academy available through Viva Learning.
  • In progress - The “In-progress” tab helps you return to learning you already opened or started. It shows recent learning experiences and side-by-side content you opened so that you can continue where you left off.

Learning streaks - Learning streaks help you keep track of your learning habit over time. Learning Agent uses a weekly streak model, where interacting with the experience at least once during a week can help you start or continue a streak.

Profile page - The profile page helps personalize your Learning Agent experience. From this page, you can choose skills you want to learn and review recent activity, making it easier to return to learning you recently viewed and discover recommendations that match your interests.

Input field for prompts - The input field lets you type a prompt or question about what you want to learn. You can use it to, explore a topic, start an assessment, create a learning plan, ask for help building a skill, or get a recommendation based on your learning goals.

Note

Some personalization features in Learning Agent, such as learner profile recommendations and skill-based learning experiences, rely on People Skills. When People Skills is available, Learning Agent can provide more tailored suggestions, learning paths, and role-based insights. People Skills may not be enabled in all organizations. If these experiences are limited or unavailable, your admin can request enablement by opening a support ticket.
