Ways to enhance your note in DAX Copilot for Epic

Apply your personal style to the SmartSections

Do you prefer:

More concise or more verbose?
More structured or more narrative?
Paragraphs or bulleted lists?
More formal or more patient-friendly?

To configure your style preferences, navigate to Settings > Note style & format, or select the gear icon beside the Apply my style button. The Apply my style button in DAX Copilot for Epic highlighting the gear icon to open the Note style and format settings.

Your selections are automatically saved.
Toggle the Auto-style setting to "on" to apply your style preferences automatically whenever a new note generates.
Select Apply my style to manually reformat your note. This method allows you to:
- Test the impact of different style settings. (TIP: Revert to a previous or the original note version before testing new style settings).
- Apply formatting as an exception for specific circumstances.
- Modify the initial output generated for your specialty after the note generates.

Important: DAX Copilot can generate as many as eleven clinical summary sections from a recording, so each of the four SmartSections in the Note tab in DAX Copilot or your Epic note may contain sub-headings with related information -- depending on the content in your recording(s) and your note style preferences. The Note style and format screen contains the settings for each of those sections.
