Find and use SharePoint agents from Teams app store

Open the Teams App Store

1. Launch Microsoft Teams on your desktop or web browser.

2. In the left navigation bar, click Apps to open the Teams App Store.

3. Select the Agents category to view available agents from SharePoint amongst everything else you have access to install. This list will be sorted based on the recency, and all agents from SharePoint will appear together.

Optionally, use the search bar and type the name of the specific agent you need. Do note that search will work only on your personalized list of recent agents.

View agent details

When clicking on an agent from here, the agent's details are available for a preview. Users can see the agent's name, icon, creator, agent location site, grounding sources, app permissions for Teams, and other useful details.

Add to chat or channel

When clicking on Add, users will be presented with a modal to select the chat, channel or meeting to add the agent to. While only one chat or channel can be selected at a time from this screen, users can perform the same action again to add the agent to any number of chats or channels.

For agents that have already been installed, clicking on the agent from the app store will directly launch the chat selection screen and skip the app details modal. Users can always see the app details from the overflow menu, though.

Share an agent

Users can also share an agent directly from the app store. This would show a message preview, and users can select where it has to be posted to.
