Manage meeting attendance reports in Microsoft Teams
Enable attendance reports to view and download important attendance details, like who attended and what time people joined and left, during and after your meeting. Only organizers and co-organizers can view and download attendance reports.
Turn attendance reports on or off
Organizers can turn attendance reports on or off in meetings they create.
Before a meeting
To turn attendance reports on or off before a meeting, first select the Teams calendar version you’re using. To learn more, see Get started with the new calendar in Microsoft Teams.
To turn attendance reports on or off:

Select Calendar
in Teams. -
Select an event and select Edit
> More options. -
In Event, select Meeting options
. -
In Participation
, turn the Allow attendance report toggle on or off. -
Select Save.

In the meeting description, press and hold Ctrl and select Meeting options.

During a meeting
To turn attendance reports on or off during a meeting:

Start a Teams meeting.

Select More actions
> Settings > Meeting options in your meeting controls. -
In Engagement
turn the Allow attendance report toggle on or off. -
Select Save.
View and download attendance reports
View and download Teams attendance reports directly in Teams after an event ends. Reports are stored along with the organizer’s other data, like emails and contacts.
Organizers and co-organizers can view and download attendance reports in the event chat about five minutes after the event ends. Recurring meetings will have a unique attendance report for each instance of the series.
To view and download an attendance report:

Select Chat
in Teams. -
Open the past meeting or event chat.

Select the Attendance tab.

Select Download
to download the attendance report as a .csv file.
You can also download an attendance report during a meeting by selecting People
Notes:

If the event organizer leaves the org, reports are permanently deleted and can’t be retrieved.

Co-organizers can only view and download reports from events scheduled in Teams, not Outlook.
Hide identity in attendance reports
You can decide whether you want your identity shown in attendance reports.
To hide your identity in attendance reports:

Go to Settings and more
> Settings in Teams. -
Select Privacy
. -
Turn the Identify me in attendance reports toggle on or off.
Engagement information
Organizers with Teams Premium can view and download meeting engagement data such as total reactions, raised hands, cameras turned on, and more in the Attendance tab after a scheduled meeting or webinar.
Known issues and limitations
-
In meetings with more than 120 participants, the attendance report available during the meeting will only include some attendees. The post-meeting report will contain all attendees.

The report doesn't include insights from deleted breakout rooms.

The report doesn't currently include view-only attendees.

If a channel meeting is in progress and someone starts a second meeting within the same channel conversation, an attendance report will be available only for the second meeting.

If someone waits in the lobby and doesn't get admitted to the meeting, they won't be included in the report.
-
When a participant is on hold in a meeting, their info is still included for this period of time in the attendance report.

Attendance reports aren't supported for instant channel meetings.

Engagement reports limit how many actions are logged for each attendee (hand raises, mutes/unmutes, etc.).

Co-organizers can't access attendance reports for channel meetings.

Turn attendance reports on or off
To turn attendance reports on or off before your meeting:

Tap Calendar
in Teams. -
Tap a meeting.

In Details, tap See more > Meeting options.

In Participation
, turn the Allow attendance report toggle on or off. -
Tap Save.
Participants can decide if they want to show or hide their information in attendance reports.
To change your attendance report privacy settings:

Tap your profile picture in Teams.

Tap Settings
> Privacy . -
Tap Attendance report data.

Turn the Identify me in attendance reports toggle on or off.

Open an attendance report
To open an attendance report:

Tap Chat
in Teams. -
Open the past meeting chat history.

In the Meeting ended message, tap Attendance
.
Share an attendance report
To open an attendance report:

Open an attendance report.

If you're using an iOS device, tap Share
. -
If you're using an Android device, tap Share
.

Choose how you want to share the report.
-
Send the report.
