Symptoms

Assume that you deploy a Microsoft Azure virtual machine by using a Microsoft SQL Server 2014 image. When you restore a database on the virtual machine, the Cloud Adapter crashes.

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
