Keep track of events after they’ve ended, whether you missed a live session or want to revisit key moments, in the Microsoft Teams Events app. Watch past event recordings and access related content in one place.

Find past events
To access past events in the Events app:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Discover.
Scroll down to the Catch up on past events section.
Select View all to see more past events.
Select the Invited or Registered filters to see past events relevant to you.
Publish a recording
To publish an event recording:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Select a past event.
Select Recordings.
Next to the recording you want to publish, select Publish.
When you publish an event recording, attendees will receive an email notifying them that the recording is available to view. You can make edits to that email before publishing the recording by selecting Preview email
> Edit email
next to the recording.
After the recording is published, it will appear on the event site where attendees can access it. To unpublish an event recording, select Remove next to a published recording. Attendees won’t be able to see the recording on the event site, but you’ll still have access to the file in OneDrive.
Share a recording
When you publish an event recording, attendees will receive an email notifying them that the recording is available. They can view the recording by selecting the event in the Events app and viewing the event page.
You can also copy and share the event page link to give others quick access to the recording.
To share an event page link:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Select a past event.
Select Share
.Make sure the Show event in Events app toggle is turned on.
Select Copy event page link
.Paste the link in a message, post, or other communication to share.
Manage recording access
Recordings will expire after a certain length of time specified by admin policies unless you extend them.
To extend access to a recording:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Select a past event.
Select Recordings.
Select a recording to open in Clipchamp.
Beneath the video player, select Expires in (#) days.
Select a length of time you want to extend your recording by:
Choose Select a date to specify the date it will expire on.
Select Remove expiration to extend access indefinitely.
