Manage upcoming and past events in one place with the Microsoft Teams Events app. Customize and edit upcoming event details, engage in the event Q&A, review RSVP statuses, and view past event insights and recordings.

Edit event details
Make changes to upcoming event details and branding to tailor the event to your audience. If the event is already published, you won’t be able to change who has access to the event or turn registration on or off.
To edit event details:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Find the event you want to edit and select Edit
.Make changes to event details.
Select Save changes

Customize event branding
Add a banner, logo, or theme color to align the event with your org’s branding.
To customize event branding:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Select an event.
On the existing cover image, select Edit
.Under Cover image, select Edit image
to upload a new cover image. Zoom in or out of the image using the slide bar and drag the image into position. Select Save.Under Logo, select Upload
to upload an image of your org’s logo.Under Theme color, choose a color that best represents your brand. Event elements, such as the Join button, icon colors, and more will be presented in that color.
Select Save.
Chat with an event group
Start a chat with event organizers and presenters only to plan and prepare for an upcoming event. This chat will remain available after the event ends. Event participants won’t have access to this chat.
To chat with an event group:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
On the event you want to chat in, select More options
> Chat with event group.
Chat with participants
Start a conversation with event participants leading up to an event to communicate updates, requirements, and more. Chatting before an event isn’t available for events optimized for a large audience or for events that require registration.
To chat with event participants:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
On the event you want to chat in, select More options
> Chat with participants.
Manage Q&A
Encourage participation and engagement leading up to an event with Q&A. Share updates, start discussions, and post questions for attendees. Give attendees permission to post their own questions and comments, as well as engage with others using upvotes and reactions.
Create a post
To post in an event’s Q&A:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Under Published, select an event.
In Overview > Q&A, select Share updates or start a discussion
or Ask a question
.Create your post.
Select Post.
Change Q&A settings
Modify Q&A settings to adjust attendee access to Q&A. Choose whether they can create posts, comment, upvote and react, or post and comment anonymously. You can also change organizer permissions to moderate posts.
To change Q&A settings:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Under Published, select an event.
In Overview > Q&A, select Q&A settings
.Adjust the setting toggles.
Select Save.
View event RSVPs
To view RSVPs to your event:
Select Events
on the left side of Teams.Select Manage.
Under Published, select an event.
Select People & emails.
Select Attendees.
Look at the Status column to view RSVP statuses.
