Review Prior Reports
Reviewing prior reports is a core workflow for radiologists, allowing access to relevant patient history to support clinical interpretation.
Step-by-step instructions
Accessing the Explorer screen.
a. Launch the PowerScribe One Client application.
b. Navigate to the Explorer screen, which serves as the central hub for managing and viewing reports.
Locating the patient or exam.
- Use the search or filter options to locate the patient or specific exam for which you want to review prior reports.
- You can search by patient name, medical record number (MRN), accession number, or other available identifiers.
Viewing Prior Reports
a. Once the patient or exam is selected, look for the Relevant Priors or Prior Reports
section within the Explorer or report view.b. Click on the desired prior report to preview its contents.
The Prior Report allows you to reference findings, impressions, and recommendations from previous studies.
Note
- No Change Report: Select this option to bring in the body of the prior report and the statement at the bottom indicating there is no change from the prior report.
- No Change Statement: Select this option to add only the “No Change” statement to the bottom of the report.
Best practices
- Always verify patient identifiers before reviewing or referencing prior reports.
- Use the filtering and search capabilities to quickly locate relevant historical data.
- Leverage integrated features like Relevant Priors and Procedure Data for a more efficient workflow.
