Cloud speech recognition uses neural network models and advanced language processing. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure and eliminates the need for training and profile management.

Supports flexible use across workstations and devices without dependence on a specific recording device or per‑machine optimization. Operates on a cloud‑based, horizontally scalable architecture with built‑in redundancy to support availability and operational reliability.
Language models and vocabularies are updated through ongoing service releases informed by continuous learning and monitoring of user‑added terms.
Reduces infrastructure requirements and administrative effort associated with deployment, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance, which may help lower overall operational overhead.

You can access the Speech Menu to find helpful information for using cloud speech to dictate your reports.
Open a report in the Report Editor and select the Speech Menu in the Left Navigation pane to open the Speech Menu.

Select icon to expand the additional menu and choose from the available options, including:

What You Can Say: Provides a listing of voice commands for the Report screen; Template Commands; General; Application AutoTexts; Customer Feedback; Manage Formatting; Tutorial; Correction; Navigation; Recording; and Personalization and help.
Options: Provides microphone sensitivity adjustment.
Manage Vocabulary: Use to add words to your vocabulary. Once words are added, you can train, edit, and disable your vocabulary words.
Help: Provides options for Speak; Correct mistakes; Use a microphone or device; and Use speech recognition more efficiently.
Manage Formatting: Use to format Dates, Times, Numbers, Measurements, Vertebrae, Numbered lists, Section headings, and Words and sentences.
