Adjust PowerScribe One preferences
PowerScribe One has a range of user-specific preferences that let you tailor the app to your workflow and needs. Changes you make in your preferences affect only your account and don't impact other users.
When you save your personal preferences, those settings override any defaults set by your admin at the system or site level.
Note
PowerScribe One has a variety of user-level preferences you can adjust to personalize your experience. These settings apply only to your account and don't affect other users. However, some preferences might be locked or set by your system admin to support reporting quality, maintain standard workflows, or ensure system security.
To change your preferences:
- Select the drop-down arrow to the right of your username and select Preferences.
- In the Preferences menu, check or uncheck the preferences based on your workflow requirements.
- Once you have made the desired changes, select OK to save the modifications.
Note
By default, some options might already be enabled for you, but they might not apply to your role.
Devices
When windows detects a device, Devices appears in Preferences and shows the type of device detected.
Supported devices include:
- PowerMic II
- PowerMic III
- PowerMic 4
- philips Speechmike 3700
- Foot Pedal
