Smart Search provides quick access to radiology-focused websites and reference resources, allowing you to find relevant clinical information, guidelines, and teaching files directly from your reporting workflow.
Smart Search organizes content into the following folders:
- Radiology Sites
- Google Book Search
- Medical Imaging Resource Center (MIRC)
Using Smart Search in your workflow
Follow these steps to perform a Smart Search:
Dictate a report in the Report Editor.
Select Smart Search button from the toolbar. Alternatively,
- Highlight a word or phrase in the report, right-click and select Smart Search from the context menu.
- Say the voice command Smart Search.
Select the magnifying glass icon to begin searching the website or resource.
Choose a website or resource to view more detailed information related to your query.
When finished, close the Smart Search window to return to your reporting workflow.
Note
You can dictate and use the Smart Search dialog box simultaneously.
