mPower is integrated with PowerScribe One and supports full-text searches across indexed radiology reports. From PowerScribe One, you can launch mPower and continue your search in mPower Clinical Analytics. This article focuses on the handoff from PowerScribe One into mPower and the most useful ways to narrow results once search opens.
Important
Access to mPower features requires a facility license. To purchase mPower or enable access, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Search for report data
- In Report Editor, select Tools > mPower.
- In the mPower Search box, enter a search term or phrase.
- Select OK.
- You're redirected to mPower Clinical Analytics, where matching search results are displayed.
Tip
Enter keywords, report text, findings, or clinical terms to search across indexed report content.
Refine search results
After mPower Clinical Analytics opens, use search and Advanced Search options to filter and narrow down results. Available filters include:
- Exam type
- CPT code
- Reporting provider
- Organization
- Date range
- Modality
- Patient demographics
- Measurements
Boolean search syntax adds an extra layer beyond Advanced Search for more targeted queries. For example, use moderate & cardiomegaly to find results that include both terms.
Example: Find reports related to pulmonary embolism (CTA chest)
- In Report Editor, select Tools > mPower.
- Enter pulmonary embolism in the mPower Search box.
- Select OK.
- In mPower Clinical Analytics, select Advanced Search, then apply filters such as modality, exam type (CTA chest), date range, and reporting provider to refine results.
