In PowerShare, each inbound study has an owner status of either Mine or Shared. You can see this status in the Owner column on the Images tab.
Understanding the owner status helps you know which actions are available for a study.
Understand Mine images
A study marked Mine is a study that you upload directly into your PowerShare account.
A study is marked Mine if you upload it from:
Your PACS
A connected facility’s PACS or modality
A CD
Easy Uploader, if enabled
Use Mine images when you need to manage studies that belong to your PowerShare repository.
Understand Shared images
A study marked Shared is a study that another PowerShare account sends to you. For example, a study is marked Shared if it comes from another facility or care centre.
Use Shared images to identify studies that another PowerShare connection makes available to you.
Compare mine and shared images

Review available study actions
When you select a study, the available actions might vary. Your facility administrators determine which actions are available and appropriate.
Depending on your access, you might be able to:
Share These Images: Share the study with a PowerShare connection.
Unshare These Images: Remove access to a study that you previously shared.
View Share History: Review the share history for the study.
View Recent HIPAA Events: View HIPAA events from the past 90 days and access the HIPAA Audit Trail page for more details.
Download DICOM: Download the study to a device.
Nominate to PACS: Use the PACS nomination workflow, if your administrators allow it.
Push to PACS Destination: Send the study to a PACS destination.
Copy: Create a duplicate copy of the study with an owner status of Mine.
Delete Studies: Delete the selected study from your PowerShare repository. You can't delete a Shared study.
Why owner status matters
The owner status helps you understand how a study entered your PowerShare account and what you can do with it.
For example:
If the study is Mine, you uploaded it into your PowerShare account.
If the study is Shared, another PowerShare account sent it to you.
Some actions depend on your facility settings and administrator permissions.
Tip
- Check the Owner column to see if a study is Mine or Shared.
- Use Copy to create a duplicate study with an owner status of Mine, when available.
- Remember that you can't delete Shared studies.
