In Teams, the meeting organizer and co-organizers can delete the meeting recording.
To delete a meeting recording:
- Select OneDrive
in Teams. - Select My files
> Recordings. - Find the recording you want to delete.
- Hover over the recording and select More Actions
. - Select Delete
and confirm.
Restore a meeting recording
If you delete a meeting recording, you can restore it in OneDrive.
To restore a meeting recording:
- Select OneDrive
in Teams.
- Select Recycle bin.
- Select the recording you want to restore.
- Select Restore
.
Important
As of early 2021, Teams meeting recordings are no longer saved to Microsoft Stream. All recordings are saved to OneDrive and SharePoint. To learn about deleting a meeting recording in SharePoint (for channel meetings), go here.
